Ce premier patch (gratuit) ajoutera la fonctionnalité "multijoueurs" en Bluetooth et en wifi (pas en 3G). FREE MULTIPLAYER: Download the FREE multiplayer function to go head-to-head against your opponents via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Par ailleurs, un premier pack de maps multi-joueurs sera en vente sur la boutique CnC de l'application. EA semble vouloir se servir à fond des nouvelles fonctionnalités de l'Apple Store pour prolonger la vie du jeu avec des contenus payants. Nous n'avons aucune information sur le prix mais cela ne devrait pas coûter très cher. Enfin, il y aura aussi un patch qui ajoutera l'empire du soleil levant avec une campagne, ses unités et ses structures + de nouvelles unités alliées et soviets ! “EMPIRE OF THE RISING SUN†EXPANSION PACK: Expand the action with a third faction with its own story, units, and buildings. Extrait de la news de Pocketgamer.co.uk Most prominent was the news that although Command & Conquer: Red Alert will launch as a single player, local wi-fi and Bluetooth multiplayer will be added in an early update. I'd hoped we might see remote multiplayer (even if it was restricted to wi-fi, but no specific mention of such an elaborate feature as yet). Downloadable map packs, available through in-game purchases, were also announced, though no word on pricing. It's hard to imagine a single map pack running up much more than 59p, but there's every chance that bulk purchases or extra special content might yet require additional funds to keep the Red Alert war machine oiled. Je le vois que comme ça vu l'annonce de DLC dès la sortie. L'empire aurait déja du être present, oui alors pas du tout présent vu la faible cohérence historique puisque les Soviet ont pas encore buté Einstein.
