[justify]Voici enfin des nouvelles du mod Mideast Crisis 2 pour CnC3. Dans cette news on peut découvrir deux nouveautés, un char de l'ONU et une nouvelle map.

Tout d'abord le char, miracle de l'ingénierie Germanique, le Brummbär est un blindé utralourd dont voici les spécificités :

- Se construit comme un bâtiment

- Plus gros que la plupart des bâtiments de MEC2

- Ne peut être déployé qu'à un exemplaire

- Ne coûte pas de fioul

- Dispose d'un mode déployé

- A sa mort il explose violemment et disperse un nuage de nanoseed autour de lui - il est d'ailleurs équipé d'une fonction autodestruction.[/justify]

[justify]Beoros Automobile's XP(B)-1 Brummbar isn't so much a tank as it is a self-contained army in an ultramodern nano-engineered shell. While it looks like a war machine, its main purpose is to showcase Germany's prowess in the ever-evolving world of high-tech engineering and development. Using mass-fabricated carbon nanotubes in its construction as well as other lightweight high-strength materials, the Brummbar is much lighter than it looks, officially weighing less than ninety tons - though, of course, its exact weight is classified. The large double-wide treads along the considerable length of the vehicle are said to give it remarkably low ground pressure. To power the massive vehicle, a top-secret new engine is used; rumor has it that it's a small nuclear reactor, but Beoros Automobiles remains tight-lipped on the subject.

On a recent tour around the European Union, the vehicle needed no refueling stops. Similarly, the armor composition used on the vehicle is completely classified. It's probably electrically-charged, but this is merely speculation. The armament of the Brummbar is an auto-loaded modular Rheinmetall 155mm cannon, a shortened modification of the L52 used on the Panzerhaubitze 2000. When in "Tank Mode" the gun lays in a gyrostabilized horizontal position and can fire a variety of munitions for use against hard targets. When in a defensive position, the Brummbar can deploy stabilizer jacks and [Censored at the request of Beoros Automobile's representatives]. For defense against enemy aircraft and close-in defense against infantry and light vehicles, an independently-aimed missile turret sits atop the main turret. The extremely large size and great cost of the vehicle makes it unmarketable as a practical military weapon and Beoros has no plans to sell the prototypes. However, the first seven combat-capable prototypes have been donated to the United Nations as a gesture of goodwill.[/justify]

[justify]Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey est la nouvelle map 6 joueurs du mod. Elle se déroule en milieu rural, joueurs commenceront dans des champs sauf un qui démarrera sur un stade de football. Le centre est occupé par une ferme d'éoliennes hightech de la Nethia Corp. Les éoliennes fournissent de l'énergie (fioul), la différence avec les derricks et les stations services c'est qu'elles n'explosent pas violemment lorsqu'elles sont détruites et n'entre pas en compte lorsque la GOI utilise "export oil".[/justify]

Nethia c'est une société énergétique pas une faction, et ils sont loin d'être écolo. (l'univers du mod est très recherché, il y a des marques inventées, Maginoil : pétrolier, Sparkle Cola, McBurger Kong : celui de AR2)
